Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every paid Nottut plan. The Service is provided by Zempra LLC ("we", "us").
1. Who sells your plan
We sell paid plans through Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe is the reseller and merchant of record, under the name Link:
- checkout shows "Sold through Link";
- your card statement shows "LINK.COM*";
- your receipts and invoices come from Link;
- Stripe calculates, collects and pays sales tax and VAT, which is already included in our prices.
Prices are in US dollars. Link's terms apply to the payment, and Link's support can help with payment questions and refunds. In some cases Stripe may also refund a purchase itself, within 60 days, under its own rules. The refunds described below are our commitment, and they are paid back through Stripe to your original payment method.
2. Automatic renewal
- Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, at the price that applies then, until you cancel.
- Before a yearly plan renews, you get a reminder by email.
- If the price of your plan changes, we email you 30 days before your first renewal at the new price (see section 5).
3. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, in any of these ways:
- in the Stripe customer portal, which you open from the billing section of your Nottut settings;
- at link.com, where you can also see and update your subscription;
- or by emailing support@nottut.com from the address on your account.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Until then you keep your plan. After that, your account moves to the Free plan and you are not charged again.
Deleting your account ends a paid plan straight away. It does not refund the plan by itself: if a refund in section 5 applies to you, email us, before or after you delete the account.
4. Your content after a paid plan ends
- We do not delete your notes or files because a paid plan ends.
- Your notes stay available and editable. If your files use more Cloud storage than the Free plan includes, they stay available, but you cannot upload new files until you are back under the limit or upgrade.
- Version history is cut back to the period the Free plan keeps, and older versions of your pages are deleted. Restore or export any you need before the plan ends.
- Pages you have published and links you have already shared keep working. New sharing is limited to what the Free plan allows, and the AI allowance returns to the Free plan's.
- When a Team plan ends, its workspace becomes read-only. Nothing in it is deleted.
- You can export your content on any plan: each page as Markdown, HTML or PDF, and your account data as an archive from Settings.
5. Refunds
- First purchase. The first time you buy a paid plan, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of that payment, for any reason, wherever you live.
- Yearly renewals. If a yearly plan renews, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days after the renewal charge.
- Monthly renewals. We do not refund monthly renewals or partial periods, except for billing errors or where the law requires a refund.
- Price changes. If you are charged a new price and cancel within 14 days after that first charge, we refund the unused part of the period, pro rata.
- Team seats. Seats you add during a period are charged right away for the rest of that period. Seats you remove are credited for the unused part of the period, and the credit is taken off your next bill rather than paid back to your card.
- If we end the Service. If we close your account or stop the Service when you have not broken our Terms, we refund the unused part of any period you have paid for, pro rata.
- Billing errors. If you are charged twice or charged the wrong amount, we refund the error in full.
When a payment is refunded in full, the plan it paid for ends and your account moves to the Free plan.
6. How to ask for a refund
Email support@nottut.com from the address on your account and include the receipt or invoice number from Link, or contact Link's support through link.com. Refunds go back to the payment method you used. Your bank decides how long it takes to appear, usually 5 to 10 business days.
7. EU and UK consumers: right of withdrawal
If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase of a digital service within 14 days, without giving a reason. This policy does not limit that right. For your first purchase, the full refund in section 5 gives you at least as much: we deduct nothing for the days you used the plan. For a later purchase, we refund what you paid, less a proportionate amount for the days before you withdrew where the law allows it. With Managed Payments, Stripe also applies the cooling-off rules of your region.
To withdraw, tell us within 14 days of your purchase, by email to support@nottut.com or through Link's support. A clear statement that you are withdrawing is enough; you do not need to use a form. We refund you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your request.
